The drudgery life as a taxi driver has started taking its toll on Kess. The financial pressure is becoming almost unbearable. One day he picks up a lady and drops her off at her destination, in her hurry to meet up with her appointment, she forgets her belongings in the taxi. He traces her house and returns her belongings to her. This act of honesty, compels her to help him when he runs into trouble with the law. They eventually get married. However, marriage is simply not her thing, and she fails as a wife, leaving her grown up daughter open to an illicit intimacy with her husband.
